Our services are only
provided after a mutually-agreeable outcome following a
complimentary "get acquainted" interview. During this meeting, the
client has an opportunity to learn about our services and the
qualifications of the sitter.
Specific instructions and
special needs are discussed and documented regarding your home and
pet. All pets must be properly licensed and up-to-date with their
rabies vaccinations, and properly fitted collar must be provided by
the client and contain an informative ID tag. (Choke-collars are not
acceptable.)
We do not provide services for aggressive pets,
or pets with a history of biting. Cats must have a safety-collar
with an informative ID tag and will remain indoors at all times.
Dogs with outside access (pet doors) must be contained within
a secure fenced yard; free from holes, gaps, or sections that
could allow escape.
Visits are scheduled on consecutive days,
beginning on the day of or the day after the clients departure, and
ending on the day of or the day before the client
returns.
Due to insurance requirements, we do not "job-share"
our services with friends, relatives, or neighbors. In addition, we
cannot ignore outdoor pets such as cats for the purpose of
calculating or discounting rates.
Pets will be walked off
premises if required, using a secure leash or appropriate
carrier.
